2013 World Machine-Tool Output and Consumption Survey

The World Machine Tool Output and Consumption Survey collects global statistics country by country and compares them in U.S. dollars.

This is the 48th edition of an independent annual survey that collects statistics from machine-tool-producing countries and compares them in U.S. dollars. It is conducted by machine tool industry veteran Joe Jablonowski and Nancy Eigel-Miller, research manager at Gardner Business Media.

Methodology remains constant. Data comes from official sources including trade associations and government ministries. Local currencies are converted to U.S. dollars at average interbank rates for the entire year, not at end-of-year rates.
